They can help learners to demonstrate competence in the practical use of computerized accounts software to produce accurate, professional and well presented accounts employing an appropriate range of accounting activities.
Course Description Areas covered at Level 1 Include : - being able to create accounts
- processing accounting information in respect of the sales and purchase ledger
- understanding how to use batch control sheets
- being able to produce accounting reports such as customer activity reports and supplier details reports.
Areas covered at Level 2 Include : - processing accounting transactions
- producing customer and supplier documentation
- producing reports such as aged creditor analysis and sales day book summaries for management purposes.
Areas covered at Level 3 Include : - interpreting and processing both routine and non-routine transactions, together with the production of accounting reports such as a profit and loss accounts and balance sheets.
