Course Description This qualifications are for learners who want to progress in supporting users and supporting, maintaining and developing systems. They cover more complex work and learners could develop their supervisory abilities as well. Learners can select from a range of Software Development, Systems Support, IT User and non-IT units and can include units from Microsoft, CISCO and CompTIA to contribute to their Advanced Diploma.For learners to achieve the Advanced Diploma for IT Professionals (7266/25), they must achieve a minimum of 450 guided learning hours. They must be successful in a core unit, either 306 Requirements analysis and systems specification or 502 Customer support provision 3, plus additional optional units to make up the total guided learning hours. 60% of the total guided learning hours must be from units at the level of the qualification.
| Assessment To achieve the qualification, learners must be successful in the assessment for 1 core unit and 4 optional units, at least 3 of the optional units must be from the level 3 IT Systems Support group, one unit may be from the other optional groups.
