Campus Facilities

  • At Leinster College we believe we have excellent learning facilities. Being a relatively new college has enabled us to invest in the latest computer hardware and software, wireless networking and internal systems.
  • We offer an environment for learning and development that combines the most exciting developments in new technology and traditional learning.
  • The College campus is situated in 26 Harcourt Street ,Dublin-2 in the historic City of Dublin.
  • The College is also well positioned, in terms of its actual location, in a dynamic, city centre campus, with rich resources, close to the nation’s major Museums, and cultural centres.

Class Rooms

  • As welfare of our students is our primary concern, all of our classrooms are designed to be pleasant places to learn. These are airy rooms with significant natural light. The classrooms are centrally heated in winter making it a comfortable atmosphere for both the teacher and the student.

Library

  • We have a continuing program of purchases to expand and update our books and journals. Students may use the computer facilities in the Library to search for research materials relevant to their course assignments. The library is open for student use during the college hours and students may borrow library books for home study provided they have a valid student ID card.

Mails Faxas and Internet

  • Students cannot use the college as their residential address but while waiting for a permanent address you can use the College Admission Office address to receive personal mail during this time.
  • Fax facilities are available in the reception area.

Student Support

  • Students at Leinster College enjoy the support of all the staff.  The college is small and has a friendly, personal atmosphere. The staff get to know the students well and take an interest in their progress and well-being.
  • In particular, the course tutor will monitor students’ academic progress and ensure that any problems are identified and discussed as early as possible.  Students can also speak to the principal about any serious personal problems or issues they have with the course.
  • Leinster College also has a student affairs officer whose role is to provide students with non-academic support and assistance.

Bank Accounts

Our administrative staff will help you to open your own student bank account in Dublin. The college has special arrangements made with the local bank which gives priority to our students in dealing with bank matters. In order to be eligible to open a bank account in Ireland, you must be enrolled in a full time course for a period of not less than 6 month. For overseas students, most banks require an Irish student visa valid for at least 6 month.

  • The college will be happy to help students to register with their local General Practitioner (GP) and will assist you in making appointments with a doctor or a dentist if you need treatment during your stay.
  • Health Care is not free in Ireland and can be very costly. The GNIB insist that students arrange medical insurance before they will issue a Visa. Leinster College strongly advises students to arrange medical  insurance before travelling to Ireland and will assist you to do so.
