Course Description The Diploma in Travel and Tourism has been developed in response to employer demands for better skilled and employable young people by the Diploma Development Partnership (DDP) of People 1st, the sector skills council for the hospitality, leisure, travel and tourism industries, and Goskills, the sector skills council for passenger transport. Entry Requirements To enter the Diploma you must have completed the ABE Certificate (in any programme) or have two GCE A – Level and four GCSEs at Grade C or above or posses a BTEC National award or equivalent NQF level 3. Students with at least two years’ work experience can also apply, even without any of the above qualification. | Assessment Assessment will be a written examination One three-hour paper relating to a business scenario provided in the question paper, containing six questions, of which four should be answered.
